Hydrangea (detail)
A closer view of the tiny blossom bunch I did in watercolor and ink. I'm enjoying my small, Strathmore Visual Journal with the 140 lb. watercolor paper (5.5 x 8 inches). It's a spiral construction, so it lies flat. The pages are rather sturdy, so I can get a bit sloppy with the water without too much fear of pages tearing under my brush.

Hello, it was lovely to find your comment. I have enjoyed looking at some of your drawings and paintings. You have lots of lovely colourful work and Ithe ability to try lots of different techniques has produced some really interesting work. Happy painting.
