I painted this small watercolor, 6.5 x 4.5 inches, as a gift for two friends in honor of their mother's memorial hospice garden. I believe art is a means to express cherished memories; a way to celebrate the joy we find or experience along our life journeys.
I agree...art is a celebration of life. In looking at the art months- years from now, the memory is reborn anew.
